Linda Ford, Master Gardener from upstate New York, conducted a preliminary study on the wildflowers of Copper Canyon from mid to last August 2005 and has now identified 34 species. She returned in September 2006 to continue her study and has photographed and collected data on many new species which will now be worked on for identification.
